Transaction Notes is a private tool I built for my own use. When my bank sends me a transaction alert by email, the tool reads the alert and sends a text message to my own phone with the amount and the merchant. I reply to that text with a short note describing what the purchase was for, and the note is saved alongside the transaction record.
The purpose is to capture the reason for a purchase while I still remember it, rather than reconstructing it from a statement weeks later.
Only me. The tool sends messages to a single phone number, which is my own, and it is the only number configured to receive them. There are no customers, subscribers, or third-party recipients. No one else can sign up, and there is no list to join.
I am both the operator of this tool and its only recipient. I configured the destination number myself, and consent is inherent in that. Because no one else receives messages, there is no opt-in process for other people to complete.

Messages are sent only in response to a transaction alert from my bank, so the frequency matches my own card activity. In practice this is a few messages per day at most, and often none. No marketing, promotional, or recurring scheduled content is ever sent.
Reply STOP to any message to stop all messages. Reply HELP for help. These keywords are handled by the underlying messaging provider and take effect immediately. Message and data rates may apply.
Transaction records are stored in a private database that only I can access. Messages contain a transaction amount and a merchant name. They deliberately do not contain account numbers, card numbers, card expiration dates, balances, login credentials, or any full personal identifiers.
No data is sold, shared, or disclosed to anyone. Nothing is used for advertising. Because the only recipient is the operator, there is no other party whose information is involved.
